Situated off the north west tip of Lombok, GiliT is an idyllic resort island with crystal clear waters, pristine white beaches, great snorkeling and diving, surfing, horse riding, and with the benefits of top quality restaurants and services while enjoying primitive island life and culture.
No motorised transport is allowed on the island so horse drawn carriages (known locally as “cidomos”) and bicycles are the main forms of transport. The quiet laid back island culture is therefore preserved.
